Obtaining Jmol
Jmol can be downloaded from the Jmol homepage.
Introduction
Jmol is a molecular visualization program in Java. For basic display of atomic data, Jmol is easier to use than VMD. However, perhaps due to feature creep, more advanced features of Jmol are about as awkward as VMD. Besides the examples below, it's worth looking though the Demo pages to see what Jmol can do. The Documentations and the wiki are a bit more disordered.
